Greetings, Seventh District. GET EXCITED! The next Choir Rehearsal, in preparation for the Annual Session, is IN ELTON! The Rehearsal is Monday,  APRIL 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Elton, Rev.  Freddie J. Jack, Pastor. The address is 1409 Martin Luther King. SEE  Y’ALL THERE!

Good evening, Seventh District. As we return to a pre-Covid schedule for the Annual Session, hotel rates have been blocked. The Annual Session is Sunday, June 1 - Friday, June 6, 2025. We are returning to a full, all-day schedule of parent body, Congress of Christian Education, and other activities like we used to do before COVID-19. The Host Church is the Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lake Charles, 910 N. Shattuck St., Rev. Alvin Brass, Pastor. The hotel selected is the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 402 N. Martin Luther King Hwy., Lake Charles. The flyer is attached with more information. START making your reservations. The deadline for the discounted rates is Thursday, May 1, 2025. All blocked rooms will be released back into the general population after May 1, 2025. SEE YOU IN JUNE!

Greetings, Seventh District! During President Joel Greene Jr.’s Annual Message, he recommended that Seventh District churches be identified by flying a flag at your local congregations. As a result, the process has begun. Moving on the President’s recommendation, flags are being made with the Seventh District logo. It will simply say below the logo, “A Member of the Seventh District Missionary Baptist Association.” The cost of the flags is $100. We are encouraging all churches of the Seventh District to purchase a flag and fly it proudly at your church.

Greetings, Seventh District. We mourn the loss of our beloved President, Dr. Jimmy R. Stevens, with deep regret. I express my sincere sympathy to his family. My condolences, and please know that my thoughts are with friends and family. Dr. Jimmy Stevens accomplished many good things in life. He worked hard and always followed the path of honesty. Dr. Stevens was a great leader, organizer, and humanitarian we all loved. We offer our deepest sympathies on behalf of the Seventh District Missionary Baptist Association.
